As a child, I felt a lot of shame. Growing up at the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, I was just like all the other patients. Once I was sent home, I was different than everyone else in my town, including all of my family members. I walked and moved differently than the other children and felt judged and ridiculed. These childhood experiences created vulnerable parts of me that I carried into adulthood, and struggled with for decades. Becoming Self Aware has allowed me to identify and heal from many childhood issues. If you are sinking under the weight of your burdens, I encourage you to take the first steps to become Self Aware. Head over to my website if you want more information about the book I wrote to guide you through the process.
